I am working on a 1/35 Tamiya AAVP7A1, when i glued the top and bottom halves together, and allowed them to cure over night, i came back to this, i pick at it alittle and made slightly worse.. i need to correct this without loosing to much of the non skid details... and suggestions??

See if you can get the picture to work? I think you will need to load the picture to a picture sharing site like Photobucket or flickr? copy the image code from the site and then paste it here on genessis with:[img] the image code[/img] . no spaces

Okay,what i have done thus far, i used some tamiya putty, to fill in the break,left it overnight to cure, i guess i just need to get there with some dental tools and work it out ...glad this happened on the Tamiya model and not my hobby Boss Btw : TY Ted

note to self next one i build i am going to Build up the inside on that edge in front from the Drivers sta, to the Turret, with some scratch built ledges for support

Have you thought about changing direction with this kit? maybe you should make it into a battle damaged tank. possibly build a diorama. with a little work you could make it look like it took a substantial round in the side, or that it got hit in the side and blew out the front.

Well this particular model is going to be in an ocean or beach assault type diorama, i have gotten the royal sea blue and sea foam white, for the base, i can ultimately cover up the broken area with some simulated water over spill across the fwd plenums with alittle white for foam simular to this:
