Thought id have a quick mess around

tried using MrHobby dark iron was planning on alclad gunmetal ... but i like the look of the dark iron .... and some Nato black, just used what i had to hand to give me a rough idea of my colours pretty much sticking to the same colour as the plastic i guess ...

Not sure what to do with the grey part in the middle maybe stainless steel or gold ? who knows.

the dark iron looks much darker in real life

Took of the armour gave it coat of primer ( Vallejo ) and then few light coat of tamiya x-1 ( Dont think i had to ? ), followed by a light coat of Mr Metal Colour dark iron ... let that dry and gave a it light polish, i dont want the frame to be to shiny, then just a coat of futre to protect it for now ..

some boxes of have a few parts seemed easier to remember ... example the torso has 47 little bits so yeah lets i know all the bits in that box are for the torso ... would be a nightmare looking through the box for all the bits otherwise

Got a bit inpatient and sprayed a little more ... got even more inpatient after that, and started to add bits together so a few wee nicks and fingermarks on the paint, wasnt fully dry or protected ...

But hopefully i can strip that back to the plastic and go again easy enough? any tips
for that? its just Gunze Dark Iron and Tamiya or and a little of AK extreme metal... Cellulose would work ok though right ?

I think im gonna lighten the dark iron a little il need to try out some colours out and see ...

in real life the dark iron and black look to much the same to me ...

Also not keeping the purple bit unsure what to do with them for now, but it looks out of place to me so it needs to be another colour

Just hope my paints arrive soon im itching to go now

I use 91% IPA [isopropyl alcohol] on water based paints. Brake fluid for cars works and has virtually no odor. And many have mentioned the Fairy power [SP] Spray product also? Is that stuff this product guys?
