So, after my first 'water effects' attempt with the Shavrov SH2 last month I've decided to do another one.
This time instead of using resin I'm trying the 'foam board ' method.
I will probably forget to do photo updates but I'll do my best.
Fingers crossed.

7hrs in and the base is taking shape.
The hull is part done and a few bits and pieces are almost painted.
Next, cover the base in a thick(ish) layer of Mod Podge.

Ship is built. Base has had 2 coats of Mod Podge.
Next to tie it all together by adding waves, rigging and weathering.
I'll get something to encase the foam once it's all done.

Nice. I build ships too. But water always was too complicated for me.
