Hello 

Does anyone have a method of repositioning decals after they have been bedded down with Micro sol

or more accurately help I made a mess of positioning decals and need to turn them slightly to get right position.

could not find anything on that myself--just how to remove a decal.

Hi liberally soak the the decal with the blue bottle micro set/sol this usually lifts the decal enough to be able to re position it.

Thanks I shall give it a go 

now need to make sure I'm not looking at decal positions at a different angle to actual model (daft mistake to make)

Oh well only 40 odd decals to go

Ok for anyone interested 

I gave the Microset (the blue bottle) method a go (3 hrs of work and soaking involved).
It was  successful worked very well on high gloss areas, on areas that where slightly more satin in finish it didn't really work (decals had enbedded themselves into surface some how). I think this is one is due to decals being to good at bedding down (damn you Hobbyboss for doing good decals).

Oh well lessons learnt and nothing broken (well apart from dropping scalpel into my foot, no more working bare foot for me).

Time to finish the decal-ling  [smile]

glad you had success with the technique. gives me hope for the future. I am very glad that you have followed this through to the end and documented the work. scalpel in foot--oops!
