What are those rivets made out of Jas ?

They kind of remind me of those edible cake decorations but a lot smaller

The rivets are tiny half balls (if that makes sense) used in paper & nail art / craft and made from some sort of plastic that welds with polystyrene cement.
A bag of 1000s is only a couple of quid from eBay & come in loads of sizes 1mm - 10mm

I have been looking for something like this for ages, I found some in Hobbycraft but they are too big for most scales. I wanted to use something like that to put rivets on my carrier deck way back, but in the end I had to leave it bare

I think I need to get browsing the craft section on the bay

Great progress Jas, looking really good so far.
Also nice to see the CNC side of things too.

I'd be interested in some of those rivets if you have too many [wink]
and cheers for the link on the Tamiya paints, I aint used them in years !!
there are few of there colours I could do with, plus I like the smell of them [smile]

I would like to find a cheap place for styrene stock, looks very handy,
would like to get a variety pack stuffed with everything [biggrin]

Anyhow, love the way this is shaping up [smile]

Thanks Fabian, apart from the front grille all has gone to plan so far & really enjoying this build.
Not decided on the diorama yet, I'm thinking of possibly a metal floor, walls and possibly a door of some kind, with a few props here and there

Arm No1 more or less done, will add some coloured wire for the cables so I don't need to paint them.
