December 2019 Competition

If you wish to win this prize then all you need to do is simply make a guess of real or not real.
When the competition ends the first Friday next month I will personally run a random number program and use that number to count down this thread and youtubes comment section to find out our
winner.
The winner will be announced on the first Friday of next month in a Genessis Models Vlog where the prize will then be shipped out to you free of charge.

I would love to participate in a group build. However due to limited time, I don't build so many models. Earlier notification would be beneficial for me... Three months sounds good. Even if 2-3 future builds are announced, it would help great deal to plan accessories and kits purchase.

Hello Bobby / fellow modelers. I think a couple of months notice is enough for a gb. It gives enough time time for a bit of research and ordering kits...etc.

Count me in for the Sea Fury competition. As to notice for GBs, I'm new to this modelling lark and still finding my feet. Not planning on taking part in a GB until I've had a bit more experience so I'd say your current notice timeframe is fine.

Hi Bobby, on the group builds, I would like as much notification as possible.  There's two group builds per year, so it shouldn't really be too hard to announce at the beginning of the year what each of them will be.  I've got loads of builds planned for next year, so it would be handy to know where I can slot a GB entry in.

On a different tack, the box art for the Airfix Sea Fury.  What exactly is it that it's shooting down?!  Doesn't hardly seem like a fair fight, does it?!

generally speaking, earlier notification is helpful because i find it so difficult to balance work time. at the same time, it must be a challenge for you too, Bobby, to plan so far in advance with all your projects going on plus making these videos too! thank you

Count me in too please Bobby

I would prefer it if we could have a more notice of the next GB.
I know other websites plan out the GBs for the whole year in January and I think this approach would be helpful.
This would allow for more time to find a suitable model to enter and any other bits and bobs needed.

Thanks.

Geoff.

Hi Bobby and everyone,
For my 2 pence worth, I think about 2 months notice is good as it allows me time to source kits etc and have them delivered if my one LHS does not have it in stock. They are very good but not a warehouse.
Thanks for all the videos as well
Cheers
Greg

The Sea Fury is on my wishlist. Beautiful plane. Please count me in. I think 2 months is sufficient time to get inspiration and get the materials together.
