Seems very serendipitous that these three videos should show up in youtubery subscriptions list !!
It's as if they knew what I was planning ! [biggrin]

I almost feel guilty for not having started yet given everyone else's progress,
but I do need to finish a couple first which they're slowly getting there [smile]
One thing though I think I am going to do is the deck diving Kamikaze
scenario with motors etc. so I need to plan out the electrics and
necessary plumbing / routing / switching  etc.

Something like this but with a more dramatic angle and the F5 underneath on the deck starting up...

This is a tempting excuse to bust out the sci fi,
never knew they had X Wings in WW2 [biggrin]

NO matter when you start, just when you finish! those videos are great--go figure how they "popped up"---definitely a sign. X-wing deck crash--brilliant. I caught the cover of a book about the civil war once upon a time that it showed civil war soldiers facing each other with automatic weapons! And last year we had the Movie "Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Slayer". cross dimensional stuff is and always be popular. sounds like a group build? sci-fi?

I have to say this is the most entertaining build that I have ever seen.

Feels like I'm watching Plan 9 From Outer Space on the SciFi channel.....brilliant.

agreed! the UFO with the "alien" [who reminds me of gumby/pokey] might also be an offshoot of "Mars Attacks".....so many possibilities! I feel and academy award for special effects coming?

Haha, the irony is of course that there hasn't been any building yet on this "the most entertaining build" !! [biggrin]
But very nice of you to say so though, hopefully once I do start on this project things will improve haha [smile]

Btw, you do realise that "Plan 9 From Outer Space" was voted the worst movie of all time ? [biggrin]
But I do enjoy that kind of schlock from time to time [smile]

"I feel and academy award for special effects coming"
yeah me too, just not for me haha [biggrin]

I think escapism will always be popular [smile]
But yeah, I am liking this idea of crossing genres a little bit hence the beginning of my WW2.1 builds starting with my Zelle Fire and garden night light "Haunebu" [smile]

Hada feeling that some of you might find the X-wing deck crash appealing [biggrin]
tempting to do for a second build [wink]
Only two things at a time though otherwise my shelf of neglected kits will need an extension.....

Anyhow, the UFO is coming along nicely and nearly ready for paint [smile]
Check it out here [smile]

I still can't understand while the Navy stopped using the X-wing, I guess after the destruction of the Death Star and the fall of the Empire they didn't need it anymore.

I hope they mothballed a few though as I feel a disturbance in the force and if there's one thing I've learned, a good Sith down you can't keep

yep, the Glittery Unicorn Poop is strong on this one...... [wink]

is unicorn poop made of multi purpose corn ?
or is it that it can be made of any type of corn ?
as opposed to a monocorn poop which is made of just one type of corn...... [crazy]

Btw Thomas I promise you not all Hellcat kits end up looking like a Yoofoh haha [biggrin]
