Hehe, picked this up at a garage sale a while back and have just used it to keep my decal water warm. It's perfect and warms cold water in a few mins. Just turn it off at temp and back if it cools too much.
Happy days.

I was watching one of Bob's videos once and I saw that he had a burner stand like the one that caterers use to keep food warm. He had put several tiles [stone] on top of the wire rack and his decal water container on top of that. I actually had the items available at home but never used them! I've never kept the decal water heated. I am sure i will use heated water when I do the decals on the Phantom F-4 ? the cup warmer is a great idea--no flame, etc. Really nice if it has a temp control? bonus. thanks for showing!

Yeah I've used it a bit now and you do have to control the heat a little, but it's quick. If I know I'm in for a decaling session I walk into the cave and turn it on straight away. By the time I've got my stuff together the water is warm, then I shut it off for a while, so on and so forth.
I don't know if it makes any difference but at least the decals get a warm bath. lol
