Steven had to put one Led inside, attached to a couple of batteries.

One nice thing about the wings being removable is that you can put weights in either end to adjust the balance should you decide to balance it on its rear wheels for that take off attitude, should you decide to go that way of course [wink] [biggrin]

Just working on the wings and you are right, this is one time I'm glad I didn't use glue.

I do have quite a few panels that need to be re-scribed, not an easy thing to do at this scale...and is one of my pet hates. [wink]

Paul, I know you are eager, but don't hurry your build.
I have a very good reason for getting mine done asap, which I may announce later on.

You will find that the builds will slow down and you can take things at a more leisurely pace and produce a work of art that deserves a place in the final.

I say this everytime a Group Build is underway...we are all winners in the end. We cement friendships, not just styrene. Helping others along the way, and getting involved in their builds is a wonderful thing. Myself, I had a great fear of using an Airbrush and relied on doing the paintwork with either a rattle can or paintbrush. Now I feel lost without one.

I've been involved in discussions on trying to figure out how to produce seamless intake tubes for a Phantom. Modellers and friends coping with life changing events away from the forum. Rebuilding lost mojo's, and even seen Unicorns, named Trevor, actively involved in builds..(I kid you not...Alclad has that effect in close spaces). [smile]

I will now get off my soapbox....talking of which there is a Soapbox section in General Chat, that I set up, where you can let of steam (within the guidelines of the forum) and rant and rave about expensive p&p, crap instructions, useless products, and the like...

I'm going to stop here now, but I think I've made a point.

Enjoy the hobby and enjoy reliving your youth.

As the Joker once said...Why so serious ?

That's just what I was hoping for by joining the GB to be honest.

my eagerness to get started is born out of my excitement for what's to come rather than worrying about being done in time.. luckily I've got another couple of builds on the go to keep my hands busy until then [biggrin]

Update

Well I think we all know this was going to happen. .a tail sitter.

So now you know what one looks like I don't want to see this on anybodies model.

This though, was done deliberately.

Thanks for dropping by....now where's my Airbrush ?

Gotta admire his unbridled enthusiasm though [biggrin]
I hope your announcement isn't going to be anything bad Nigel
Here's hoping it's a happy event like a kid on the way or you won a world tour holiday with
Brit Floyd [smile]

A very large aquarium for a reasonable fast fish !! haha [smile]
Anyhow, what a cool scheme !
