Can anybody tell me a good brand of brushes to use for dry Brushing

I use the dry brushes from Citadel. Mine are quite old but I think they still makes them, comes in three sizes. I think they are good value. However you can get kind of the same result by cutting off the tip of any old brush you have laying around, that's what I used to do.

Thank you for your reply I do have some old brushes I will give that a try until I can buy some made for that purpose

I'm no pro at dry brushing--I usually go way too far with the technique. Well, lately I have been using some pastel pencils, good old #2 pencils, etc to apply highlighting that I would usually attempt dry brushing on. its easier, faster, and you can sharpen the pencils to a fine fine point to get into tight areas.

I use an old Humbrol brush (that I also use for cleaning my airbrush paint well).

As per Ted's comments, go easy as it can easily be over-done.

I also have a prismacolour sliver pencil which can be used for highlighting, paint chipping etc.

Thank you all for the advice I hope to give it a try really soon and I also use the silver pencils as I use silver grease pencils at my work to do layout on steel I use them in my modeling work to do chips on aircraft and again thank you all
