Hi, Another qustion in another topic, this time,I will like to know how to dull, weather decals ? Building Su-27,I will need decals to match dull paint,so how you all do it? I was thinking maybe sand it with 8000 grit sandpaper... Or spray it with something white/gray , but with what, and how? Once again, thank you in advance for help. Regards, Ozren

I have done this a couple of times before, on my Falke build the scheme was olive drab with USA markings and I sprayed lightly over them with really thin olive drab to weather them a little bit, another way I have faded decals and paintwork is to add a tiny bit of white paint to the final clear coat and lightly spray it on but you really need to test these techniques before you try it on the model, because if you add too much white or spray too heavy there is not a lot you can do to recover the decals
Hope this helps

Simply clear with flat, or matte, paint. That's usually my last step.
