Hello!

One of the most fun builds I've done but now it has come to an end..

For more info on the kit and build have a look at the WIP http://genessis-models.websitetoolbox.com/post/eduard-148-albatros-d-va-profipack-8128709?&trail=15

Um, this looks like 1/24th scale. I watched you WIP and I'm still having a hard time seeing this as 1/48. The detail level is amazing, Doc. You just continue to impress! [biggrin]

Really enjoyed seeing this progress. It gives nothing away to larger scales..looks real to me..even the way the base grass was shaded...it all fools the eye to thinking it's real..many great builds scream look at my detail, this just sits right.

Wow! I mean WOW! You've created an exceptional display. This is one of those builds and finishes that has me going back and forth studying the pictures [which are very nice also] over and over. The details, paint and decals............and that rigging! With the base and figure, quite a display piece to enjoy and share. I like the "antique" image you created too. Nice little extra. You could frame it and have it nearby the finished build?

Thank you all for your kind words! They mean a lot to me, keeps the mojo up and helps to push myself a little more for each build.

Cheers!!

Looks beautiful. I've been debating on trying one of these or a Wingnutwings.

Thanks! Build them both! :-) I would love to get my hands on a couple of Wingnut wing kits but I can't really afford them so I will keep building Eduards 1/48 they are after all really good kits

Stunning! very nice build. doesnt look like 1/48 at all. I hope my WnW 1/32 Albatros will look at least close to that when i build it.
I will certainly study your Wip
