Manage to get access to my photobucket account after having a bit of a problem yesterday so here's a pic of the current state of the build.

Nice! Is that a canvas finish on the wing panels? Can't see it too well on my phone but the detail looks great

Thanks mate!

There's no canvas effect on the wings, but there's a fair amount of detail!

Ah cool. Looked it on my phone and I was super impressed if it did. Looks like a stunning kit either way

Got a little time at the bench this morning thought I would share the progress, today I wasn't alone, my youngest son decided to keep me company while working with his favorite plastic [smile]

Anyhow, got the non checkered surfaces painted

And started working on the white parts, masking the ribs to achieve a little more interesting look

Thanks for looking!!

Really! That's super surprising. I have only ever used it as a mixer tbh but I really love how it came out

I like it to, needed some green, green for the crocodile mouth. There are some dessert yellow mixed in for some colour variations.

Update!

Sprayed the white, soon ready for a new masking session and some red paint. Took pictures during the process and thought I should share them with you.

Painted with white stynylrez primer and all ribs masked

Then some "pre-shade" with Vallejo german grey

On top of that Vallejo aged white, grey white and white in different mixes

Unmasked

And finally a very diluted mix of aged white and white to blend everything together

Probably going to add a little post-shading and a little more colour variation but I will wait with that until I laid down the red so I can use the post shading to bring it all together.

Thanks for looking!
