So after some masking, spraying, un-masking, spraying, masking, spraying and finally some more un- masking I got the red sprayed on most of the surfaces. Unfortunately I managed to screw up and rip some paint off...probably due to badly cleaned plastic before primer. Have to fix that and some other minor touch ups.

Still have to mask the ribs and paint one wing.

Thanks for looking!

That is looking very nice indeed. Pity about the paint peeling off though, but it should be easily fixed.

Thanks guys!

Yeah the paint chip should be an easy fix, just some more masking required [smile]

Problem with the peeled paint is solved, it took a while since I ripped more so I had to repaint booth red and white. Anyway the base paint is all done and I got the decals on today. Wasn't free of problems but now they are applied and they look ok... Will have some touching up to do with this build.

Also got some sub assemblys ready for paint.

Thanks for the encouragement!!

However this build is going slow, and I'm not having fun with it at the moment, struggling to get the look I'm after. So I decided to put it on the shelf for a while and start my entry to the GB instead, maybe some time away from it is exactly what I need.

This is how it looks at the moment, many hours of work but not much to show

Well I think there's lots to show and all great work Daniel, so don't leave it on the shelf too long.
