The wheels, though, don't have an axle, just glue to the inside wheel well.
Yup Verlinden makes their tractors the same way no axle which is really no big deal for me at least on my build cause it will be glued to the base just like the crew and equipment the plane will be the only thing moveable for transport to shows and stuff.

I've only returned to the hobby not much more than a year and a half ago and usually with chronic time problems.
Anyway PE ... You will enjoy not being able to get up from your chair realizing that you have been perched over your desk for four hours straight in the same position trying to stick those two microscopic pieces together ... Or ... Spending a few hours on your knees with a flashlight trying to defeat the carpet monster .... Only to find the missing piece in a crease of your clothes ...
God, I love this hobby!!! :-P

No truer statement has been said there Wim.
Have been in thar situation many a time. I bought a Rolson, 7 led, pocket torch just for that very reason.
The ironic thing is that when you do find the piece of PE, and get it successfully in position, you can't see it on the finished model as it's hidden deep inside the dark cockpit with the canopy down....and yet you still tell everyone about it.

If it was all about just looking at the finished model, you'd just buy one already assembled. Fighting the carpet monster is all part of the fun.

Yeah il probably be doing the same.. but im sure it would be easy enough to knock up a quick axle if you wanted them to move ?

Yea anything is possible but in order to do it right it would take a lot of research on what the real axle looks like and steering system plus the hunks of resin to be cut out I think that is one mod that would not be an easy one to do but if some one really wanted to do it I am sure it could be done.
