I have a question about this Resin ... do i need to wash it before applying the primer ? Also im not sure what the internal colour should be for the exhaust ... would steel be ok ?

Yeah im either gonna use a wash and some burnt exhaust pigments or paint the internal exhaust black. ... the steel isnt what im looking for looks like it just rolled out the factory ... My skyhawk is in the middle of the Vietnam war so its got to be dirty

Oh YEAH, the office is outstanding! very nice work. I always have a problem painting the inside and outside of jet exhaust correctly. I need to do more research and watch Bobs last jet exhaust he painted [think it is the GWH F-15 step by step build??]. He really covers EVERYTHING about painting the exhausts. What I don't know is when they started using that ceramic material inside the jet exhausts. Now I've gotten all confused! sorry! please carry on!

Exactly right. we do a lot of things in modeling that will never show. the only time that part of the exhaust is viewed is if it was being judged at a scale model show. those guys use the little LED flashlights to look in! You got it right!

Really... i doubt id ever enter into a competition never been my kind thing, but im still going to carry on painting it up anyway... its a part or the enjoyment i guess knowing that its all done
