Well, here she is, my first serious kit build in over thirty years.  This represents a number of firsts for me, not least of which is my first time using an airbrush.  It’s also my first time with aftermarket products, such as photo-etch and resin.  Then there’s all the new tools and chemicals, like Micro-set and Micro-sol, liquid cement, oil-brushes and others, stuff that was unheard of on my first tour with this hobby.

You don’t have to look hard to see the errors, but overall I’m pretty pleased with the end result.  It was a steep learning curve, but I know how to make improvements, and the next kit, hopefully, will be a little better.  Hope you like her.

That is a bang-up job all round! Wow...looks great and you've covered each skill really handily. Looking forward now to see what you come up with next. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks, Ted, always nice to get supportive comments!  I admit I haven't been on here for a while because I'm also on the Flory models forum, and this one seems rather quiet by comparison?  But if everyone took that attitude this this forum would just wither, so I'll try and post more often.  I have also since completed the 1/48 Hobby Boss F4U-4 Corsair, so when I get the chance I'll post that up as well.

I would love to see that Corsair! One of my very favorite WW II planes. I recently met a marine flyer who flew the Corsair. It was exciting to talk with him. Glory is a good site. Thank you for posting here also.
