Thanks nigel. yep 3 birds 1 stone and brought the cost up high enough to get half price shipping even. Probably wouldn't have even thought of getting a spitfire if you hadn't brought it up, and then I didn't watch the video review. The eduard spitfire looks like an amazing kit. Good luck on your cockpit and your mig. Kenny

Now, now boys. It's way to early for some of us, and Dublin is just about recovering from the Gay Pride Parade.

LOL. One does not simply recover from a gay pride parade. Kenny

why not just go ahead and march in the parade WITH them and get a good dose? When my health was better I participated in the walks to raise money for AIDS research. I also did photo shoots on a number of local drag queens when I had my photography studio. I viewed them as entertainers, different, but entertainers.live & let live and all of that. My GF thought it was funny.

I don't mind what they do. Whatever rocks your boat; and they are entertaining. Trouble is there's a minority that are disgusted with them, and parading their sexuality in public offended them. Quite a few were badly injured.
Like women they now want equal rights, even demanding their own public toilets in bars and restaurants. A step too far me thinks.
Anyway I think this is really a topic for another forum, so I will say no more on the matter.
Kenny, you have yourself an impressive kit to build, eager to see the end result. I'm sure it is going to be quite a model.
Ted, I'm all for good worthy charity work. Fair play to you.

Well that was akward.... Company should be gone either thursday night or friday during the day sometime, so I'll be able to get started this weekend. Probably a good thing that I have to wait since I'm also waiting for a couple of paints for the cockpit, and some tools for the photoetch. Quite a lot of PE in the cockpit, so starting without the proper tools would probably not be a good thing. Glad to see all the people that will be following along with my build. I'll do my best to not disappoint, and plan to follow everyone else as well. I cant wait to get started, so I'll just have to enjoy everyone elses progress while I wait. Kenny

I decided to go with the vf-161 markings. Figured I'd go with something with some blue. Kenny
