Thanks steve and pete. Looks a little naked with none of the ordinance slung under the bottom yet, but I'll take care of that when I get home from work this evening. I hope the weather clears up by then so I can take some outside shots, otherwise I'll just have to make do with what I can get under the lamp on my desk.

Thanks Chris and Neil. I'm really happy with how it turned out. Matte coat seemed to even out the weathering a bit so it doesn't look as dirty as it was. It's supposed to be a show plane (the bicentennial planes were mainly used in airshows, but some of them ended up on the frontlines) so I was trying to keep it somewhat clean but still kinda dirty. Managed to get the weapons and drop tanks on this morning before I had to leave for work. Forgot a little box that went on top of the rear canopy so I painted that this morning and glued that on with some pva glue. When I get home I'll probably need to put a drop or 2 of matte varnish on it since it's a mrcolor paint. They come out kinda gloss or satin which sticks out against the matte of the rest of the plane. Rain is still on and off today so far. If it isn't cleared out by this evening I might just put up some indoor shots for the final reveal, and then add some outdoor shots tomorrow. Since it's supposed to be clear tomorrow and cooler. Going to be nice going from hot and humid houston summer weather to fall weather.

Kenny

I am looking over the images again and again, soaking up all the good build/finish karma I can--its massive! pure beauty. I always get a fright when I see the washes slathered on!
