Nicely done! Can't see any problems yet. Not sure what you're talking about.

The etch looks good to me, it can't be easy to work with such small pieces of brass, it looks like Eduard have included some nice stuff in this kit. And don't be so hard on yourself you are doing fine !

I think that you are off to a GREAT start. the panel is looking really nice. To remove paint, I soak the part in 91% IPA. comes off with a toothbrush and no sanding marks.
its great to see you in the group build Panzerkrieg

How much have you got to do on the tomcat Andy ? Pete

Hi Pete, I have sprayed the bottom of the F14 and bleached it fine but I have made the post shading far to dark and messy. I need to spray over that with a transparent coat to knock it back. Unfortunately I am so busy at work, house renovations, walking the dog and running around kids that I literally say every day to myself that I am going to work on the model when I get home but so knackered after tea that it just doesn't happen. It is getting a bit frustrating....hopefully tonight (after a meeting about my son's D of E expedition) I can move forwards. But I still have to finish the bottom painting, paint and weather the sides and top, decal, finish the weathering and put it all together.

I will see where I have got to at the end of the week but I think I will start the GB this weekend and do the two models in tandem using my F14 to practice any technique I am going to use on the F4.

.....tonight I am going to do my painting.......tonight I am going to do my painting....!!! Perhaps if I chant this it will get me through two meetings and a load of work this afternoon before tea and...painting!

Sorry Panz for using your string for this reply to Pete. Seeing you start the Da Nang kit is getting me straining to start mine!

You have every reason to be happy mate, the etch looks great ! And the instrument panel is very nice and well detailed, will you keep the canopies open to show off all of your hard work ?
