Thanks everyone! Really easy build so far but that's what I've come to expect from Eduard. The Profipack is one of my favorite kits to build.

As you might have noticed I lost part of the gunners seat belt[frown] looks like i'll have to make a Tamiya tape seat belt to fix it no biggie

Talk about warp speed! Nice work Neil, that pit came up beautifully, and I'll back up your endorsement of Eduard. Only built one of their kits but it's still the best I've seen by a long margin.

No real update tonight work is on full force starting early and staying late so not much time for the bench. So here's a little tip instead. Mainly for us 1/48 and 1/72 builders I don't think the 1/32 guys need it but you never know. If you ever need an illusion of hollow barrels on your mg's or if they are to small to drill out, after you paint them the Dark Iron or Gun metal don't forget to paint the ends. When that is dry then get out your favorite dry brush colors and dry brush the ends especially the outside edge of the ends of your barrels. Here's an example.

Notice the difference between the left barrel and the right. The left is NOT dry brushed but the right IS.

And here is a shot from a little distance, you can see the illusion I'm trying to create of a hollow barrel

Hope this helps
See you guys on the next update!
Cheers!

Page 6-7 Update

Got some work done on the 110 Today got through 2 pages of instructions. So we were ready to finish the nose and guns section

Here we have the guns all on and bottles glued up ready to fit in the bottom of the nose section

That finishes page 6...on to page 7!

Gluing the wing sections together. Straight forward no fit issues

Time kinda got away from me and was in the zone forgot to take pics of the nacelles going together but was not a lot of parts. so here are the wings and nacelles. The nacelles are just dry fitted

Terrible fit which is notorious with this kit but nuttin a few pieces of card stock can't cure!

Here is a pic of both wings from the underside

From the topside

Sub-assemblies together

Going to really have to work on this nose section ... the other bane of this kit.

Dry fitted together

That's where we sit. See everyone next update![wave]
Cheers!
