Is there a possibility you will make the gun bay openable so you can show off those guns after you're done?
Those really should be shown off! [smile]

Wow Neil, I'm just catching up with your build and it's absolutely stunning. The cockpit is fantastic and the best thing with this aircraft is it won't all be hidden away. Well done so far, looking forward to more.

Hopefully you should see quite a bit through the canopy.

The fit on the nacelles is truly shocking Neil, but I'm sure you will sort it out. Great progress though Buddy and it's looking great !

Update Pages 8-9

Thanks to everyone for their great comments. So started to work on the engine nacelles. First up is here I'm trying to squeeze out every bit of the gaps that I can and in the end all I needed was a little goop (which is styrene melted in Tamiya extra thin), makes for a good filler as it's the same plastic as the model you can rescribe it as if it was the original plastic.

And the result was pretty good I was happy with it at this point

And with a little sanding everything worked out just dandy!!

Then added the radiators, Tail planes, Vertical Stabs,

A little goop was needed on the bottom of the tail plane

Then it was time for mounting the wings which went on perfect!!

Only thing else to do to finish this page out is to mount the tail wheel but this will be done near the end of the build.

See you next time
Cheers!!

Nice going Neil, coming together really well.
Thanks for the reminder of the melted sprue filler, I may use it myself. [smile]

Dangit I forgot I could use sprue as joint filler lol!! I've just recently learned how to use it for welds and now this! Splendid work on this aircraft Neil! She's looking like your usual top notch craftsmanship!
