After a lot of looking around, found the Eduard F-4B "Good Morning Da Nang" here in the states. Arrived two days ago. Still trying to plan my first group build.
Here we go!

To be honest was a bit disappointed that this is the second jet in a row for a GB to am having to bite the bullet. However the GB's are a way to motivate me to the bench so have bought a RF4e Phantom just to play. Also, it is in some strange scale called 1/73, or something like that.[biggrin]    Will be the first build in my new cave too!!! Aidan [cool]

Its going to be a giant group build and should be a lot of great information streaming around as we all get going. I'll be watching as I finish my tank and then get out of the gate asap.
I would act all experienced with group builds and such but this is just my second GB. a special welcome to everyone who will be in the GB for the first time. the group here is very supportive. enjoy!

Six more builds are going to start, according to vote... Do not start late! Six month is less than you can imagine, at least in my case it was (started two months late..)

My Mig 29 is on hold at the moment. Never completed a 1/48 Jet Aircraft, they have been mostly 1/72 scale planes.
I have the F4 and I've learnt a lot since joining the forum. Maybe now is the time to jump in. As they say in for a penny in for a pound.

Mr. Waldren,
Sorry Bob, I don't agree with you bowing out of judging the winners of the group build. Part of the reason I pay to be on this site is to have my work seen and judged by a professional. I've never even seen you on the boards, now you don't even have to look at the group builds. So I would ask you to reconsider. This is a constructive criticism of an otherwise excellent site. Thanks.

Hi There and thanks for letting me know

If that is what everyone wants I'm more than willing to change anything here, what does everyone else think.

Thank you Bob

Thanks for your reply Bob. And a fair enough question. What does everyone think? [smile]

Bob

I have to agree with Simon, I felt a little disappointed when I heard group build would be judged by members vote not by you.
