She is finished! I really enjoyed my first group build. This is my second build, first jet and quite a challenge because of the scale. But it turned out much nicer than what I was hoping for :-). The fact of posting your progress and the friendly comments and tips pushed me to do just this little bit of extra effort...
Of course not everything is all and all Teletubbie. I hade quite some problems with the intakes, nocked of every possible antenna and had a hard time to get a nice finish with brush painting (need to find a AB sponsor, lol). But it's amazing what can be done with some patients and paint - I'm Gina stick a while to this new hobby :-)

Hope you like it and thanks a lot for the support!

And when it comes time for an airbrush The (Pashe H single action) is a great air brush for beginners new to air brushing its the one I currently use right now for the time being. it is the most user friendly AB I have ever used. Just thought for when you are ready.

This is a great entry to the GB Fabian. Well done, something to be proud of.

As far as AB is concerned I would go double action every time. You will want a double action eventually so you may as well start with one (sorry Joseph)...!

You can pick up a cheap one with compressor on Amazon...look for something in a blue foam box. They work fine to start with...

Fabian, you should be very proud of your achievement with this kit ! The finish is excellent, I have said before, it takes a great deal of skill to get results like this with a brush
And you have nailed it mate !
The effect of the fading and panel touch ups is outstanding, it's obvious that you have a good eye and a heap of natural talent, you definitely need to stick to this hobby !

I have to agree with Andy, double action is the way to go, it takes a little bit of time to get used to, but offers a lot of flexibility and fine control
And if you get one with a trigger stop it will function pretty much like a single action brush too

Again really great work Fabian, and lovely photos too

Fantastic work Fabian you have achieved a brilliant finish on the paint, the weathering and the overall build is stunning,
As for airbrushes/compressors etc check this link out it maybe of interest http://www.airbrushheaven.co.uk they were advertising in Scale Aviation modeller a complete set of a compressor hoses and 2 airbrushes for £67.99 around 80 euros I think that works out at.
Well done again on a superb build
Gary

Thanks a lot for the nice comments to everyone. I really enjoyed being part of this GB and can't wait to see all the results of the great work that's going on. And thanks for the AB tips too. Already started to check YouTube - a lot of information to find there. But honestly, at the moment it is more a space problem than a money question. Not sure how my GF thinks about a compressor, vent, etc. being in the house - well, actually a have a feeling that she won't be, let's say, very excited about it lol.
