Ok ready for fun...

So this is how the build story of the beautiful bird starts.I decided to cut some panels so i can reveal the good detail (not perfect but good) of the engine bay,,so first of all i cut one of cowling panels and one of the fuselage...and glued from inside  some small pieces of aluminum sheet  to replicate the panel holders..its not very fancy but  its nice to see some detail inside. I hope you like it.

oh yes! The panel support strips look really good. I may have to steal [borrow] that idea. I am going to have a very similar panel open to show the engine. Wish my hobby boss kit had included the bombs. I would have so put them on--love the ordinance!

Neil and Ted thank you so much for your kind words guys i.m so happy that you like it so far.
ok after a long time some good progress has been made.. cockpit parts glued and painted and also the interrior side walls of the cockpit has been painted.I decided ιt to drill some holes on the cockpit panel as you will see bellow, and place the decal sheet on the back ,so the intruments will have some realistic look, also i placed on every hole a drop of enamel gloss varnish to replicate the glass in front of the instruments.. i hope you like it.  here are the photos.

Cowling and side walls.....

Cockpit sections ,seat ,and some details assempled and painted.

Two sections of cockpit dryfit

Here you can see the glass effect on the intrument panels(well i hope you can see it to be honest)

i'm not sure if the glass effect will be visible when the fuselage get closed,,but,, its nice to know that some good detail is inside.[biggrin]

Under section of fuselage and dryfit with main fuselage,

And this is where we are so far,, next steps is the engine as you can see in the photo ,paint the details on the cockpit and install the decal sheet behind the instrument panel, install the cockpit in the fuselage and close the fusalge,,so stay tuned for the next update and i hope you like it so far.
