Looks very good. The bleaching effect is really giving the model the "pacific-sun" look. very nice effect.

Some nice surgery and scratching there. Cockpit and engine look fantastic.

I was just wondering, what was the paint you used for the blue? I could not find anything that I was happy with so I ended mixing up my own brew using Mr Hobby dark navy blue and light gray. Of course, I can't remember what mix I used. Luckily I did make enough of it ...

Cheers,
Wim.

Thanks Bill, that reassures me that I have taken the correct action also. I only had Navy Blue (which is way too dark) as a base color which I mixed with some light grey. For the panels, I added some off-white to the said mix.

Thanks for letting me know,
Wim.

I've just been catching up on the forums and I have to say that's an excellent paint job Bill, really captures the weather beaten and sun faded finish
