Final reveal pictures of the MiG I've been working on........forever. My speed flash died so these images were made with poor continuous lighting and my cameras pop up flash. By no means optimal as you will see, but all I've got right now.

I would like to thank everyone for their incredible patience and support through this build. Learned a lot. Ready for the next build!

Christian,

Very very nice comments. I appreciate them very much. Not very professional at all when you get close. the final post on teh build thread shows quite a mess with the canopy and cockpit.Having said that,  I am mostly pleased with the result considering everything I put that kit and myself through.

Ted!
My cello professor (yes that was a time when I was playing on cello) said to me once- "...listen kid you did good, very good, but next time you will preform better - trust me, there is no such a thing as excellence for truly passionate person..."

Till next time - maestro :-) :-) :-)

Kind Regards
Christian

Christian, Neil--THANKS! All of us put a lot ourselves in these builds, like they are our alternative children. I appreciate the kudos.

Yeah, you got there Ted, well done and an excellent looking addition to your collection. All of the problems you have described and worked through do not show in these pictures. Good luck on the next "Child".

Cheers
Andy

Great work ted.
Through all the pit falls you have created a piece of art. You have walked the fine line between to between to much to little. To me she has the perfect level of weathering and your scratch build parts look spot on. Really like the 3rd and 5th photos looks amazing.
Very well done. Very nice work.

Simon, thanks for the nice comments. I have a bad tendency to "overwork" things in general, and thats been going on my whole life. Next build may be a really "clean" presentation.
