Hello everyone! [wave]

Normally I'm just looking around in the forum but this GB looks like fun so I decided to take a Bomber too (or something that look like one [smile]).

And I thought for something that is 1. seldom 2. big and 3. interesting. And now look what I've found on one of my ebay raids:

[DSCI0107FV_zpshun0njhl]
[DSCI0095FV_zps9c1khtgc]
[DSCI0096FV_zps8wxu6aod]
[DSCI0108FV_zpsunlm5dmj]

You can see more pics (which do not look like from a bad ebay auction) on the manufacturers site:
http://www.fly814.cz/products/a32008-arado-ar-234-b-2-b-2n/#!

The kit looks nice and the sprues looking good but the details are not as crisp as I expected. The resin part leaving a solid impression and the photo-etch sprue is looking shiny and sparkles [biggrin]. With the decals I think they are manufactured by the manufacturer himself but I am not sure, though, they are looking good also. Btw. I build it just out of the box.

Ok I hope it will be a funny build and I can handle it, since I am normally building tanks, and it has not the pizzabox-syndrom [wink].

till next time [smile]

That looks like a very intersting kit. Curious what this will turn into.

Welcome,
Wim.

All right, the building of the cockpit is complete. Now it is ready for painting.

Sorry for this poor quality of the image but I have played with my camera a little bit around [smile]

I have finished the cockpit and added some wires, so everything is ready to disappear in the fuselage [tongue]:

It is getting forward

[DSCI0112FV_zpsvuewxlna]
I am done with the building and ready for painting

And I have one question: Had your bomber kits bombs?.... well mine has not a single one, even the big bomb under the fuselage on the box image is missing. [confused]

That's a little annoying :-/. Tamiya was nice enough to even provide a choice between bombs or a big fat torpedo for the Betty kit. But hey, the bombs would only disturb the nice lines of your Blitz Bomber ;-). Maybe the bombs are stowed away in the fuselage?
Nice progress, don't forget to make the obligated wroooom picture, lol

Done with the underside:

Yes it is annoying but I have ordered a few bombs which are also hard to find. [wink]

Lovely work on the cockpit and this bird is going together super fast mate !

Paintwork is looking good on the underside too.

No bombs were supplied in my JU-88 either (not even racks)
