Good day Gentlemen
Here is the last model done after the He 177 MPM, needed some rest. The kit is very nice, not many pieces, very well detailed, perfect fit. An old kit but a still a good match for the newest eduard's. The price of the profipack is circa 35% higher but photoetch, masks and resin upgrades are included. Unfortunately it was not available at the local dealer and I don't buy on the internet unless Sergio, who is a friend, cannot please me otherwise. That's why I use Humbrol enamels, they stink but are fine, lifecolor acrylics are too delicate and grain pigments sometimes are quite coarse (mr. lifecolor told me that I should use their specific thinner, often unavailable).
I did some minor scratchbuilding, replaced the gun barrels with copper hoses, they're not very realistic and they're moulded in one piece with the wing half, it's a miracle if you manage to finish the model without breaking. Added brake hoses as well.

THe engine is quite basic but nothing will be visible behind the cooling fan

cut the moving surfaces of the stabilizers and added also some copper pins in order to fix them lowered.

Here she's chasing a butterfly

the butterfly:

Weathered and sprayed matt clear.

This particular aircraft was assigned to Hans "Assi" Hahn, german ace who fought mainly in the eastern front

I hope you like it
That's all folks
Good night
