A quick review of Perry Miniatures 28mm Hard Plastic French Napoleonic Line Infantry 1812-1815.
This box set comes in quite heavy, and well packed, and contains enough models to make up 40 Infantry, an Officer, and a Drummer.
Inside the box are 3 sprues of figures, a sprue of bases and a very informative leaflet on the different units that can be constructed. The detail on the figures is exactly what you would expect from the Perry brothers (ex GWModellers) with just a little flash.
There are plenty of extras, scattered in the sprues, to make a lot of the figures with there own characteristics, with random backpacks, heads, weapons.
The leaflet gives you details on how to set up a Division, including flags for two Regiments.
It is an amazing box of figures....it's all there for you, and at €24 (off the shelf) it's stunning value for money.
Truely recommended to any serious Napoleonic Gamer, or just for someone to display a Complete Regiment from the Waterloo Campaign.
I can't wait to get this painted.

Dang Nigel--that is a great set of detailed figures. What a job you have to paint and detail all of that. Wow. SUBSCRIBED of course!

Ted I don't intend to do them right now as I have too much to finish first.
This is just a Kit Review for members.
Cheers.

Nigel...Truly interesting kit review for me. I would never have looked into such a kit but find its contents very nice and I would like to see it some day when, if ever, you get around to building and painting the infantry line (42 figures).

I am going to complete these figures, in formation, and hope to start after the GB, together with the other figures I have started in one great diorama. Painting them should be fairly quick as I intend to paint them 6 at a time.
