Fabian, Glad it wasn't just me having fits with that base...but you are right, we can get a lifetime's use out of the file and prints we had made! Too bad it ended up costing us almost $40 [mad] I've always steered clear of resin cockpits and reading your build thread again makes me think I am right! I'm grateful you used all that aftermarket though, the intakes and brakes both look worth the money!

Putting ours together is a great idea...unfortunately far beyond my Photoshop skills [confused]

Yeah, think I'm staying away from resin pits for a while :-). No Photoshop mate, just come over and bring your build, lol

Fabian...Your model build does justice to the wonderful Vietnam F-4 Phantom workhorse.  The extra components added to the build but your execution and painting makes for the excellent job.  Thanks for sharing your work.

Yeah sure, glad you like them. I used a Canon 30D single-lens reflex camera with a Sigma 17-50mm lens. As I have no special lights I used my LED (3 tubes) modeling lamp which is pretty strong and has nice white light. No flash btw. To be able to shoot with a longer shutter time for a larger depth of field a used a tripod. That's about it. Please feel free to ask if you have more questions :-)
