Hi jas mike if the engine does look real its down to the kit and the fact that I've ridden and worked on bikes all my life and so know what bike engines look like when they've been used. I've done nothing much to the kit, it's(the kits) details are amazing.

Hi all really peed off sprayed the tank, had it glued to piece of stick layed it on my table hanging over the end to dry came home dinner time and it had fell off the stick and onto the carpet, (insert swear words here)
hope a coat of varnish will hide it, what do you think.

nice work there Ken, always loved the cb750's   must of had 3 or 4 with the cb750k my last one. I think the front tire on that one had about half as many miles as the rear. cant wait to see what you come up with.

Hi Neil I think you must have missed my recent builds neither the 2 spits the lanc the Bentley or the Honda cr450r had metallic paint but I do like metallic paint on vehicles the red on this was made with solid humbrol 19 red mixed with the metallic blue and then a touch of black I then added a bit more black to gradually darken it to the front of the bike I will be adding silver to the blue as it gets towards the tail of the bike to lighten it up.

Looking great Ken, I must say you have achieved a very realistic finish to the motor, and the two tone frame looks bang tidy mate

Wow Ken. Just WOW. That does look real. How did you get that effect on the seat??

I've been staring at this thing for 10 minutes and the only thing that gives it away is the windscreen.

I'm super impressed Ken! You've done a masterful job on this one. That first picture is perfect! If you had a curb in front of it you would have had completed the illusion past 99.9% effectiveness.

Heck with that picture you could claim you still owned the real thing! I'd have believed you lol.

This is excellent modeling and I really hope it doesn't end up in your spares drawer!!
Keep doing what you're doing Ken. [biggrin]
