Hi Neil and Mike no not the scraps drawer (unusually I am quite pleased with it (yes lots of areas I wish I'd done better)but overall quite pleased) (especially since on another site someone wanted it taken down as it "was a real bike and this Site is for models only" I pointed out that the previous pics it was on a coffee table and never heard anything else from them) the seat is primed then stippled with a tissue with mig abt 160 engine grease on it then after a week of drying I coated it with satin varnish (I used a clean tissue to remove the engine grease colour where the riders legs would have worn the leather and other heavy wear areas like the top back of the seat (I always had something bungeed to the back seat of mine.

You are on a roll Ken. With the first few pictures I was thinking, "wow. You really didn't put your usual effort into it" but then I got to the end and realized you did. Ken, you're improving your skills a lot!
Now I can't wait to see more. your style and technical abilities are just keep improving. Don't stop!

Thanks Mike I thought I may have over done it, it's a fine line, but I think it looks like my first 750 I am going to try and base it on that, it was barely leagal and should have been scrapped but I couldn't afford any better and I had some great fun on it and learnt a lot of skills which served me well in my future riding life.

Did some work on the engine, its been dropped this side, should I give the other side the same treatment or is that going to far, mine was only dropped on one side but I am sure they have been both sides.

Hi all here is todays little bit.
I decided to do an experiment I've stuck a bit of foil on the tank and I'm hoping that when ive put the top coat on when I scratch through it it will look like the metal of the tank showing through.
also I'm trying to show the buleing effect on a chrome exhaust
