I spent a whole lot of time in Kuwait in my years serving and the gulf war was a massive part of my up bringing as my dad was navy. I remember seeing so much footage on the news which Is where I really fell in love with jets and decided the RAF would be my choice.

Could be absolutely anything from the gulf from aircraft to armour to a beach landing dio. There is a whole lot of choice and a real chance to get nitty gritty with dust, weathering and colour.

Also I have no idea how to post a poll from my phone [frown] feel free to help out lol

Think I have sorted it.

And yes I think both gulf wars would appeal more.

The shear number of combatant countries involved in the conflicts there should be almost too much choice.

Yeah helicopter would be my choice, chinook or black hawk.

Most of my flying time has been on chinook and I always remember one of my saying (when on a frontline tour)

"Always love the sound of a chinook inbound, means at best a bed for the night, at worse a good meal!"

I had a 1/72 Italeri that looked pretty good but never got round to building it, they also have a 1/48 if you can find it, I believe trumpeter do a 1/72 and 1/35 which could look good in a large dio with some vehicles etc.

Good choice, I can use one of the many USAF Planes I have
But I might Build the Tamiya Abrams M1 A2 SEP Tusk as it looks awesome and I can weather it with loads of washes, maybe some Sand
