Hey Ted ,
this looks like a really cool link although I couldn't work out to down load for free [frown]
How do I do that from that link you so kindly gave us ? [smile]

had no idea I would find it straightway! there are 2 choices on the "pliths" available.

unfortunately it is not available for free [?]. if you scroll down the page there is a button to "add it to your cart, as in "shopping cart". its L2.49 or approximately $5US.

No problem--- I thought the SAME thing when I first opened the page! I kept trying to find the "download button" and It finally hit me that you paid for the download! I am sure it gives you a code or link to use once you pay the fee. its really reasonable IMHO. I am still thinking about making a simple plank deck with maybe a stripe marking on it? I have the planks already.

That's is a really good kit I remember when it came out back in the late 90's but never had the money to buy that one.

The kit is indeed fantastic. I was able to pick it up for 23 eur, coming from 69 eur together with their FW 189A-1 with the skis (now that is a cracking kit) for like 19 eur.

Anyway, eager to start with the Devastator but I have a certification exam coming up so my patience will still be tested for two weeks. Maybe I can sneek in a few hours here and there *isburningcandles*

Cheers,
Wim.

Well, they actually have a free pdf but it is not really useful as it is a one pager with different wall textures on it. I havent looked at it properly yet but you would need something like Acrobat (not the Reader) to extract the image of the texture, plus it would need some 'photoshopping' to bring it to a useful scale without loosing too much quality. You can find the pdf under Printing Tips.

Wim.

correction they are from white ensign and have tie downs and chains etc to suit ww2 and modern us carriers. Thinking about getting them myself to make a base.

Thanks for the tip Paul. Going to have a look, it's those tiny details that often do the thing.

Cheers,
Wim.

Cheers Nigel, it was a true bargain indeed and with the added Eduard PE, I have indeed a lot to choose from. Certainly for the cockpit there are some real gems in the PE set like ammunition belts and boxes, things like that. Will need to make a serious study of it.

I really can't wait to get started.

Cheers Wim.

Hey everyone, finally got a few hours in. Started with the cockpit and very very tricky PE bending. The end result should be very good though but still a lot of PE to handle. Anyway, some pictures.

Thanks for watching!
Wim.
