If you will build a "Bombcat" anyway, its a good choice. The Hobbyboss ordnance is quite nice, even compared with the Eduard brassin ones. And these are a real amazing. The Sidewinders with their clear seekerheads and the optional pre-flight protection caps are real a pice of art. If I had to buy ordnance for a kit, the brassin ones would be my first choice.

Yea the decals seem to me to be looking a lot better based on the difference between the 1st pic in ur initial post and the 72 hr one.

[FILE090_zps9hghtw3w]

[FILE091_zpsryvrmpc8]

[FILE146_zpsiuqg1nb4]

and for some updates for the new build:
got in the snail mail the aires seats and some paints and washes of ammo mig:

when i started to examine the sprues I've noticed the upper body was broken to two halves (in the following photo you can see the red line where it was broken), so first i had to glue them together and in the following days i will sand and rescribe...
more progress, started working on the cockpit tub, so far it's going smooth.

thanks for watching and have a great day

I'll be building one of these soon, so I'll follow with great interest. That really sucks about the fuselage being broken. Hopefully that doesn't prove to cause problems later in the build.

awesome tank--great weathering! bummer that the fuselage was broken but looks like you took it in stride and ploughed right through that problem--well done!

i'm back with minor updates,
sorry for the poor quality of the pics but i can't setup my photography "studio" every day, it will take me forever and won't leave me time to build...
this hasegawa kit is not what I expected it to be (never built hasegawa before).
the sprues have a lot of flash and according to the info I had the rear cockpit instrument panel need to be updated...
the two halves of the fuselage was glued with tamiya extra thin cement, I also add a "reinforcement" on the underside of the bond line from a transparent plastic sheet.

[20150826_215936_zpsgyutc6rm]

[20150826_220046_zpsh4bhimre]

after a lot of sanding I added some humbrol putty to the bond line and sanded again, i will re-scribe the panel lines after gluing the two halves together, it feel like it gonna break again when putting some pressure.

[20150827_235500_zpshejx2zyr]

i had some fitting issues with the rear left side console that had me remove the part and sand it to fit the tub.
the rear instrument panel was

[20150826_215307_zps0tc2fujk]

and now it looks like this

[20150827_235541_zps7z8zbae9]

i'm not quite happy with the result, after i'll add some buttons i'll see if there is a need for a replacement.

thanks for watching...

That was some major damage to deal with. Best wishes that you don't have any more problems with that area of the build/repair.
