Hey All,
Just got the Hasegawa 1/48 F-15J/DJ Eagle JADSF from Hannants and was looking for a review of the kit but couldn't find one. If anyone has built this kit can you recommend some aftermarket parts, if its needed. Don't know if you've looked at the kit at all Bob but would love some insight if you have any

Thanks all
Neil

Hi Neil

I've not done a Hasegawa F-15 but I have done an Acadamy F-15 and personally I don't like the Acadamy one and when I do another F-15 in the future I will be getting a Hasegawa or then again I have read the Tamiya kit is good.

Thanks Bob ! Yes I like the Tamiya as well but the price of this kit was too good to pass up. Now I just have to save up for a compressor and brush. have a Tamiya P-51 waiting for paint and also waiting for your build Of your P-51 to come out as well...can't wait lol

I think the Hasegawa is the best kit you can get for a F-15 I just remember reading somewhere that tamiya was not that far of the Hasegawa so if think your all good there, and as for the P-51D its all ready for Episode.1 this friday update.

Hope you enjoy P-51D.

Hi Neil
Great choice for the Eagle. After working in 32nd scale for a spell, I decided to try my hand at 48th scale and purchased Hasegawa's F-15C Eagle. Gorgeous kit but it is showing it's age a bit with some flash here and there. Just getting gpoing on the Eagle and being in the swimming pool business, spare time and energy are at a premium right now. I did order a few nice upgrades for my Eagle:
Aires Resin Cockpit set
Legend Aces II Ejection Seat
Eduard FOD covers if I decide to use them
And still hunting for a pair of Aires Turkey Feather Exhausts.

Yea I've had a few flash but its not bad at all ..haven't gotten any aftermarket stuff yet but I plan on it. My kit came with some exhaust PE so I'm good there just need a cockpit set and my brush and compressor to arrive and I'll be set
