Completed my first GB with this little beauty - Hasegawa's 1/48 F/A-18C in VMFA-232 markings. Just under 4 months. BLUF - I am very happy with how this came out. Almost what I was aiming for with this GB. Certainly learnt a shedload regarding resin cockpits and exhaust cans, detailing cockpits, post-shading, and other weathering techniques.

Here's the details:

Kit: Hasegawa 09570
Paints: Mr Color Lacquer 307 and 308
Decals: Superscale 48-892
A/M: Black Box Cockpit and Aires Exhausts

Honestly, I did struggle with the kit when it came to the intakes and seating them in correctly however, after that it just fell together. Any who, on to the pictures:

Thanks for looking

Cheers!

Sean

love the little details on this one like the little mesh over the avionics and the fact that you can see the gaps between the flaps and the wings.. so realistic. [thumb]
