Last minute finish

The Kit was a bit of a challenge. Canopy fit issues, First time resin for me,wrong color painted. All in all a very good Kit still.

I decided to represent a Plane from 9th staffel KG.76, serial number 140311, which was flown to Sola in Norway in the last days of WW2.

There it was captured by British forces among 8 more Arado 234. 4 were claimed by the USAF and brought back to the US for testing.

Later only 1 survived and is at display at the Udvar Hazy center in Washington DC. The pic below shows 140311 at display in the US.

My Dio shows the Plane when it was painted with the white stars. Do to lack of information, i had a lot of Artistic Freedom.

NOT MY PICTURE

The Car and the Figure came from a Tamiya P51 Kit. The Base is a left over Vinyl batthroom tile.

The Dio of course looks a little empty. I will add some more equipment and fiures, especially the figure painting the star on the side of the fuselage.

This groupbuild was a lot of Fun with excellent builds. Congrats to everybody, you are all winners.

I apologize for the quality of the pics. Taking Photos is not really my greatest skill.

Very well done Thomas! The pictures are looking great with background and jeep, and interesting choice of paint scheme.

Great job Thomas! You've captured the 'captured' really well. lol
It must've been really interesting days combing over those German machines when they were captured.

The scene will be fun to add to as well. Good luck! [smile]
