Well said my friends, well said indeed. Wing root gaps for the bomber build, just like the Phantom GB had intake gaps last time lol. I'm already sensing a pattern here lol.

Haha yeah, my bomber (do 17z from airfix) also has wing root gap games. I think it is a conspiracy

Thanks Thomas ;-). And you are right, that's exactly why I do a Japanese bomber :-) But have to admit that also the Betty is needing some Spanish help.

great work to remove and reposition that panel! when I have to fill and sand around detail it is frightening to me since my scribing is not one of my strong points. last time I tried to cover as much of the detail with tape before hand. it helped. good luck.

And more pics, finally priming

Preshading, i had some problems as you can see. the good thing is it doesn't really matter because i can cover it.

i taped of the turbine front half and sprayed it aluminium. I will try some chipping technique later on.

Great progress after the panel correction and gap filling work. Must feel really great to get the primer on after the previous battles!

RLM 65 on the unserside, and a bit of bleaching.

Masking and getting ready for the splinter camo on Top. The instructions call for RLM 80 and 81 which is the violett-brown and green. According to my research, these colour wher not available for the plane (s. 140311) at the time. so i use RLM 70-black green, and 71 dark green.

and of course i used the wrong color, RLM 81, which is way to light. here goes my preshading.

Please comment, thanks for looking
