Right I may be slightly mad this will be my first GB entry and my first 1/72 model for over 30 years
I am aiming to get this done in under 10 days

[_507_zps7d2f3ed2]
And some sprue shots

[_500_zps691f6bc5]
Started building with pit, seats. main fuselage and nose
Detail is provided by decals for the panels and I've added some masking tape seat belts to seat

[_502_zps0a90d6f2]
[_503_zps1a0916df]
more to follow

Thanks for looking

Nice challenge there Stephen, good to see another 1/72 Hase in the mix. Good luck with the build mate, you'll probably still beat me to the finish line. [rofl]

Hi Stephen,
Great you join in - there's some amazing work going on in this group build. Looks like the same kit I did - will follow your build with interest. The kit is really nice, good fit and straight forward. Only hade some issues with the intakes, but I guess that's part of the fun, lol.
Good luck and I hope you can finish in time - go for it!

Sleeping is overrated... as long you don't go all "fight club" on us ;-). Great progress, looking neat!

More like Plastic club than fight club [smile]

All non metals painted (I successfully failed to photo preshading done with Tamiya Dark iron)
Paints for camo are all Gunze (307,308, 337) lightened with vallejo model air white

I will be doing all the metallic sections after main parts have been decaled, Washed and varnished

[_527_zps44cd6b05]
[_530_zps4bcb3e8e]
[_531_zps2adbff11]

Next stage decals (of which there are far to many)

Thanks for looking and comments

Stephen
