Still got a ton of learning and practice ahead of me though !

You've definitely got the knack getting it that smooth [thumb]
My bro can brush paint better than I can on his first attempt .... clever sod [smile]

Anyhow, I'm all excited as I've just finished my Buffalo Hawk and
posted up my "Hammed Up To The Max"  final reveal [biggrin] [biggrin] [biggrin]

Anyway, looking forward to more progress on this one bud [smile]
Yea larger area's takes a lot of practice which is why i will hand paint the small area's then switch to the air brush for the rest. but in the past at model show's i have seen over all hand painted plane's that beat out planes that were done with an airbrush.

Takes a lot of skill to do that.  I am decent at hand painting but i don't think i could ever be that good.

Nice looking kit and good start in your build, I'll think you can do this nicely even you had little late start.

Oh it is turning out to be a real easy quick build.
the fit is so well done i am having to do only a little filling and sanding i ahve been working on it sense last Saturday  a few hours a day and i kid you not it is almost ready for paint.
I cant remember the last time i did an out of the box build that went together so easy and quickly as this one.

Well no dice on the shark mouth decal still looked in very good shape but fell apart shortly after getting wet oh well was a nice thought but VF-31 Tomcatters never used a shark mouth anyway.

Ah, the red looks very smart together with the grey and the black stripes. Great choice :-)

Yea i decided to do the older style red tail's that VF-31 used back in the 90's. it give the plane some much needed contrast.
