Hey Everyone,
Did some models as a kid and loved it. Served 6 years in the United States Marine Corps as a helicopter mechanic and continued my love for aircraft. When I got out of the Marines I looked back into modeling and stumbled upon Bobbys YouTube channel and it amazed me how real you can make these models look. After spending hours watching his videos I'm excited to start modeling on a more serious level. Can't wait to learn from everyone.

Semper Fi Marine.

This is my first post but I have been reading the forums for a long time and everyone seems knowledgeable and friendly. What are you going to start with? You should get a couple in your stash now since I heard Boston starts its winter in September!

Haha yes winter starts at the drop of a dime. I'm working on a F-14 right now but I might start on doing a cobra too.

Good choice. I just preordered my tamiya 1/48 tomcat. You should look at it. My era aircraft is the F4 phantom. I remember as a teenager playing golf at El Toro. We would have to stop on the sixth hole soon they could practice their carrier landings!
Hope yours has Marine Corps markings!!this hobby is time well spent.
