Thanks Neil, slowly finding the groove again mate. And yeah I remember picking that thing up somewhere thinking "I could use this" and it's really handy in the spraybooth. I think it was a sock rack or something!! haha anyway, it's mine now.

Thanks for dropping by. [smile]

In Jakarta. Have been for the past 3 years. Not many palm trees here (hang on, there are three in the back yard), but the lifestyle outside of work is what we call conducive. Heading back to Canberra (Russell Offices) in January. I officially don't do winter now, so the challenge will be in 8 months time [confused].

Seriously like your work, please keep at it and the updates going.

Sean

Thanks, and I want your job! Not the Canberra bit. You can have that on your own, but if you need an agent in the Philippines? I'm your man ..... do I get a gun? [wink]

Just a bit of a "stop press" as I'm loading this photo with my phone. I'll update from the laptop next so it'll be a bit of a time warp, but you'll manage I'm sure. [smile]
Just found a big negative with this kit. The decals are shite! Extremely fragile and brittle. If you want to build this kit, as pretty as the in box decals are? I don't recommend using them.
The jet intake warning decal in this photo is smashed to pieces. I hope I can get solutions into it to level it out a bit. But I don't hold much hope. Shame really.

Ok, another update, it's late so I won't go on, as I posted from the phone the decals are forgettable in this kit, but the rest of it is great! So it's still worthwhile.
The decals broke with monotonous regularity, but it has turned out ok. I finished one side tonight and I think it looks pretty cool.
Pics.

Thanks for looking. [smile]

Sorry to hear about the decal problems but it turned out beautiful! Great color scheme mate, for sure worth the extra effort saving all the decal pieces ;-). And you're quick man!

Thanks fellas. And yeah Fabian, liking the fact this kit is pulling me back into the cave. Sitting here (outside) having my morning coffee and smoke thinking I should be in there now finishing it off, but I have a docs appointment soon so I better get ready for that. Lol
At the moment I haven't got too much on the plate so it's nice to occupy my idle hours doing something constructive.

And it is pretty! Lol can't wait to give it some weathering and getting it all loaded up!

Looking good there Simon!

Rapid Build!? Nonsense! You have time to do more! I'm all for great OOB Builds.... Sometimes I think We go way overboard on Aftermarket!

As far as your water issue on your compressor? U have a tank type or a Tank less compressor. If it has a tank, There should be a drain on the bottom of the tank.... If it's tank less, your gonna have to source a water separator. It will install on the outlet of the compressor and you will hook ur hose to that....

Dave

Thanks Dave. Yeah the compressor is tankless, but does have a water trap. I suspect that's not working properly as it was dry, even though there was water pissing through the line. I did have the water cooler (evap air-cond) running that day which tends to humidify the place, it hasn't really occurred since, as I've left it off. So maybe I'll pull the water trap apart first. Or get another one.

Just chilling tonight with a port and a ciggy out the back. Thought I would share the latest. I took this photo with my phone so I'm uploading via it. But before I do that, I want to dedicate this build to my new girlfriend Annalie. Her support has given me motivation to get back into the cave and get enthused again about something. I'm indebted to her, and to you guys for being here when I was ready to jump back in. Splendid effort fellas. Anyway, she decaled and clear coated. Ready for weathering. Looking forward to tuning this one up.
