Here is the pic now keep in mind this pic is very old 1980 and it was about -10 F so the guy taking the pic was kind of shaking and blurred the picture but you get the idea lol

Awesome shot Neil!! How I wish we took more photos back then too. I'd love to have something like this on my mantle piece .... I'd also like a mantle piece actually. lol Great stuff!

The F-111 ended up being a plane that, pretty much, single-handedly defended an entire continent for decades. We were happy to have the USAF's "rejects" and make them our own. Just the most thrilling thing to see at full noise out in the bush. Awesome aircraft and can't wait to see what Laurent does with this. [smile]

Neil you lucky guy ! you are standing in front of a B58 "Hustler" !!! What a bird !!!

The F-111 is a dream airplane...

The F-111 HB kit is huge and beautiful ! It requires a bit of prep work such as sanding and putty filling here and there. Fittings are great, details crispy. Cockpit and engines exhaust are a bit poor on details. The notice is ok but you have to take care prior to painting work. Not an easy kit if you want it to be worth the time you'll spend building, painting, "decaling" and weathering... Though i recommend it to you, you'll have great fun with it. [wink]
