I started to paint my Bedford QLD this week. In the instructions it said all over "Olive Drab"(71.043). I used Model Air by Vallejo, but I thourght that it would not look right, so I painted the canvas first, but I add 5 drops of Vallejo aged white (71-132) which has lighten the canvas compared with the main body colour. Lets say I am very pleased with the results of the paint so far. The photo does do it much justice in showing the color variation.

I'd say you have every right to be pleased, the truck looks a knockout so far. Look forward to seeing the finished subject!

Thank you. The only down side are the instruction that come with the kit, they are not great in giving detals of where parts go. Terry

Oh, I think we've all played the 'Where the heck do they mean this part to go' game!
