The Tamiya gold leaf would make a few really great highlights Ted. I wouldn't give up on it yet. But Vallejo would be my choice as well.

Great consideration fir using the Tamiya Michael! I also have one more gold paint coming in the mail. Tamiya Titanium Gold. I’ll add it to the palate as soon as I receive it. Thanks!

Several weeks ago my Dr made a change in one of my regular medications. In the last 10 days I have gained 20lbs in fluid.Legs and abdomen swollen and Difficult to breathe. Saw the Dr. Tuesday and got an adjustment in the meds to get the fluid off. Hoping to be back in shape soon. Its a bummer sleeping upright and laying around like a bum all day. I've been watching model build videos one after another. All it makes me want to do is buy more kits!!

Hope your health will be better very soon. Found a nice kit for you at Hobby Easy online store... a lunar tactical research machine. I LOVE it...

Oh I mispelled the name... It is the Luna Tactical Reconnaissance Machine... Even found it cheapper at Plazajapan online store. Ordered them a Tamiya kit last month and I was very happy with their service. Add a few $ to upgrade for a registred air mail shipping... and within a week I received my order. This 1/20 Hasegawa collection looks so cool...

That is COOL! Loads of detail and it’s looks like part of the rounded body might be frosted or translucent! Reminds me of one of the machines in the movie “Robocop”?
Interesting that you post this here because if I am happy with the Ironman figure, I was thinking about a diorama where he is using a repulsar blast against something. I have a box of half plastic oxygen masks and drink tops (where they put whipped cream on a drink) that could make building something like your model pretty easy (IMHO) thanks for the thought.

Glad to see you are feeling well enough to get some bench time Ted, you're right Vallejo filler is just the job for sorting out small gaps.

The panel line accent really makes the hand pop too [thumb]

Perfect plastic putty is the same. Easy to use, water cleanup and amazing for small areas.

I have read many posts about perfect plastic putty and they have all been positive. I have several
tubes of the Vallejo. When I get close to using them up I will have to order some of the PPP. Thanks
