I made this one as a present for my uncle and aunt.
He worked for many many years at the Swedish Road Administration (Vägverket) as a lorry driver. Hoped to have it finished by christmas but that proved to optimistic.

There were some fit issues, flash and ejector pin marks in the wrong places. That took some extra time to sort out. Otherwise it went together quite nicely.

I've printed my own decals to put their names on the cab and for the "Vägverket" logotype.
The chipping on the bed is made with hairspray, vallejo dark aluminium and rust paint under the yellow. The engine is a V8 and the green colours are from reference photos.
The mud effects are created with pigments (europe earth and russian soil) fixated with pigment fixer.
The pillow in the cab was made by wraping cloth around an Oat Cushion from Quakers, the kind you eat for breakfast.

Hope you enjoy.

Great looking build, very impressive.  Loving the mud effects and the scraping in the bed.  Keep on truckin'!

That is an superb build, its one of those models that if it wasn`t on a work bench you wouldn`t know it isn`t a real vehicle.

As a general point I have never understood why there aren't more commercial truck models in 1/35 scale?

Thank´s for your kindness! Warming words in a cold Sweden.
I must agree with you on the lack of good objects when it comes to trucks in 1:35 scale.
I looked around for an older 1950/60s truck from Scania but couldn´t find any, so i turned to this 1980s model.
