I know I shouldn't but really, could you resist :-). As the Phantom build is somewhat "serious" this kit should be a fun side project!

This are great models.

Just make sure you get the seams right or it will scramble your mind...and then the yoke will be on you.
So crack that box open and lay all the pieces out in order...and don't forget the soldiers.

Eggsactly Pete.

We should just watch him build this then poach some of his ideas. [wink]

Do you think these Japanese pilots play chicken?...and if they crash they would have egg on their faces.
Sounds too much of a whisk.

My bike has a flat tyre. While experience the joy of public transport a have a chance of catching up with some sprue pics.
The part count is fairly small: 34. Bright yellow with nice and sharp details... looking good :-)

It even comes with some weapons, thank you Hasegawa, and a nice big canopy...

The cute manga pilot is not included, at least not fully. I have the choice of two pilot figures (just the upper torso with a huge head). One with helmet, the other is the girl with the nice hair. Will paint them both and choose later.
Looking forward to start this one. It's actually really inspiring, all ready have some cool ideas for a little diorama. Google Chinese carrier... the funny ramp looks like it's made for this kit ;-)

Appeltje eitje indeed :-). I did a bit of test fitting... all very tight. I think you could clip this one together without any glue. But before I glue the few pieces together a have to do some painting... Doesn't matter how cute the SU-33 - ähhh - J-15 is, there are still tiny intakes to take care of :-)

For a diorama, how about on a plate with sausages, crispy Danish bacon, white pudding, baked beans, toast and HP sauce.....oh bliss!

Great idea, don't even have to paint - the sprue color fits right in :-)
