Stephen, A John Blanche figure (is this 28mm or 54mm) now that is a very brave thing to paint. I have to admit you've done a really good job, well done. Blanche, to those who are unfamiliar with the name, is an illustrator for a lot of GW Codex and Rule books. He also paints figures in dark earthy colour tones....but most important he lives on a different planet, with a mind that boarders on 'disturbed '. I'm sure you understand what I mean by that Stephen. I am glad to see you've put your own touch to this classic model. Love the earthy staining on the gown (?), lovely touch. I like this a lot Do you mind me asking where you acquired the figure, I've always wanted to try his style of painting.

Yes definitely on the horror end. Miniature is a 54mm sadly I believe no longer available (is one of 6 I believe ,I have 2 other is currently under way) I will expand a bit on your description by saying John Blanche created the look of games workshops universe's from the start, being one of the companies creators (responsible for the space marines amongst many other designs) Stephen __________________ http://s508.photobucket.com/user/sashepherd3/library/?sort=3&page=0
